I am so honored to speak for the annual meeting of the County Treasurers of the State of Kansas in Dodge City, Kansas on September 9, 2026.

These men and women have a difficult job. Probably no one comes into the county treasurer’s office glad to be there. True, some willingly and cheerfully pay their taxes, but others struggle. These are the ones who sit down to talk to the county treasurer. They may have just had a bad day, or they may not have enough money to pay their taxes, or they may be on the brink of losing their home. I can’t even imagine how many heartbreaking stories they have heard – most of which, they have no control to change.

Pray for me as I seek to encourage these who serve us faithfully, without receiving much gratitude.
