I’m looking forward to the cooler temperatures of the fall! As I’m writing this post, the temperatures in Western Kansas have been well above 100 for many, many days. In fact, I don’t remember it ever being this hot for this long. I’m so grateful for the recent rain which gave us a day’s reprieve from the heat. And I’m grateful to live in the desert where the temperatures drop in the evening and early morning. I can still enjoy the outdoors. There’s always a reason to be grateful if you look for it! As we head into the fall, let’s not wait until Thanksgiving to stop and be grateful! Look around and notice the wonderful things the Lord has made – and pause to thank Him for all the wonderful things He has done.
